I am an artist and designer working across art forms: visual arts, dance, music. I explore audio-visual expression and sensory experience to create immersive environments, posing the question: How can sound be visualised in space?
In 2019 I graduated from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama MA Scenography (London, UK) where I trained my abilities regarding embodiment in space, translating concepts from imagination and sensory experience into visual response through designing, devising costume through drafting and sewing, experimenting with soundscape as a form of communication and discovering an atmosphere of a space, combining innovative multimedia and projection mapping. I naturally aspire to collaborate with other visual artists, musicians, music composers, graphic designers, filmmakers. I am a communicator with an empathetic attitude, openness, straightforward self-expression, and good listening skills. I enjoy performing as it leads to fascinating discoveries of connection with an audience.

In my practice, I explore the relationship between audio-visual expression
and sensory experience as the potential for creating immersive environments posing the question;
How can sound be visualised in space?

My projects are based on costume design, intuitive painting, and projection mapping
with the use of the Isadora software.

I am filming a person immersed in the experience of intuitive painting while
listening to musical composition. At the same time, the live feed of the painting is
transmitted through a Go-pro camera and a projector onto a costume-clad performer in movement.
With help of Isadora software for projection mapping, I am able to reposition the paintings and
create a collective pattern - a mosaic that later on translates into a "digital pattern” rotating
around the costume.

Further, I would like to investigate the relationship of movement (using sensor technology),
soundscape and changing dimensions of the visual expression (painted patterns).

Visceral Waves

An international collaboration between artists: scenographer Asia Gulcz from Poland, visual artist Blair Zaye from New Zealand and  a guest, music composer Fernando Antonio dos Santos from Portugal.

We performed for the first time at Newspeak House (Bethnal Green, London, UK) as part of the 'Trajectory Theatre' in 2019.

We create an interactive live performance-based on sensor technology ( EEG for reading participants brainwaves, Kinect motion sensors), sensory experience: deep listening to musical composition, intuitive self-expression, computer software     Touchdesigner ( a program that can read the data, convert it into color number values which in turn changes the hue of the projected image), projection mapping (Isadora) for a real-time flow and transformation of digital input: image, sound, and light.
